Jenya Gusovskyy is a dynamic investor with extensive experience in investment banking and management consulting. His hands on management style, ability to execute large, complex deals and strong record of turnaround management make Jenya an integral strategist at GSE.
Jenya began his career as a Financial Analyst at Morgan Stanley in 2003. In 2004, he joined Bain and Company where he specialized in Management Consulting and Investment Banking. As an investment banker, he conducted multiple investment deals in the cement industry involving companies such as Dykerhoff, Heidelberg Cement, and Eurocement. He was also responsible for large scale M&A of companies in both telecom and financial services sectors. Starting in 2007, Jenya worked in the Private Equity office at EastOne Group where he exercised high levels of skill conducting large scale M&A and Turnaround Management for EastOne. Notable M&A transactions include Ukrsoftsbank, Interpipe, Dneprospetsstal, along with many other transactions in real estate, media, infrastructure, and financial services. Jenya managed the Eastern European LP's nvestments in Technology sector in the Silicon Valley and now also leads GSE investment in Eastern Europe.
Jenya holds a medical degree from Emory University where he was on track for residency in Neuro-Oncology. Jenya is a two-time swimming champion in the state of Virginia. He teaches philosophy, loves to cook and is a proud father of two.
